Antioxidant Power…

We hear or read about antioxidants on almost a daily basis but how many of us know what they really are? Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. When our body cells use oxygen, they naturally produce free radicals (by-products) which can cause damage. Antioxidants act as "free radical scavengers" and hence prevent and repair damage done by these free radicals1

Where can we find these antioxidants? There are more than 20,000 bioflavonoids and bioflavanols identified today with differing degrees of antioxidant activity. Procyanidins (flavanols) appear to be some of the most powerful free-radical scavengers available. Procyanidins are found in many types of foods, but in extremely small amounts. The second product is one that a number of customers in the Asia Pacific region have said is crucial to skin care. We announced an all new Sensé Blanc Balance Serum. This product helps improve skin texture, tone and pigmentation while producing an unparalleled brightening activity. The product utilizes a liquid crystal technology to penetrate deep into the skin and gradually release active ingredients. It's fully safe, even for the most sensitive of skin types.
